Use of Google User Data (Limited Use)
Smalendar's use of information received from Google APIs is strictly limited to providing user-requested calendar event creation and related functionality that is prominent and central to the Service. Google user data is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, analytics unrelated to the core Service, or any other secondary purpose.
4. Message Processing and AI Use
4.1 Automated Processing
Messages you send to Smalendar are processed using automated systems, including artificial intelligence, to extract event information such as titles, dates, times, locations, and notes.
4.2 AI Providers
We use artificial intelligence services hosted on Microsoft Azure (Azure OpenAI). Message contents and, where applicable, images are transmitted to these services solely to perform event extraction on your behalf.
4.3 No Model Training
Data sent to our AI providers is not used to train or improve artificial intelligence models.
4.4 Limited Human Access
Human access to message content or Google user data is limited to exceptional cases where it is strictly necessary to diagnose or resolve Service issues (such as failed event creation). Such access is restricted, logged, and used solely for troubleshooting, and never for advertising, marketing, or analytics purposes.
5. Calendar Integration
Smalendar connects to your Google Calendar using OAuth authorization. We request permission only to create calendar events. We do not read, modify, or delete existing calendar events.
6. Data Retention
- Raw messages are processed transiently and are not stored long-term.
- Message content and related metadata may appear in logs retained for a limited period solely for service reliability, security, and debugging.
- Logs are not used for advertising, profiling, or product analytics.
- Parsed event data is not stored by Smalendar after being sent to your calendar provider.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:
